Mission Statement
S+ Dental aims to increase the quality of life for our community by providing top-notch customized dental services for our patients. Furthermore, we expect everyone who finds value in our mission to be the oral health ambassadors themselves to help improve others' quality of life by sharing dental knowledge gained from visits with us.
S+ Dental opened in June 2023. Many have wondered what S+ means. It came from the game rank system where it acknowledges superb performance. As an avid gamer, Dr.Stephanie Kang always strives to be the S rank player in the gaming world and relates mastery in real life, thus S+ dentist.
With a vision that everyone who encounters S+ Dental will experience something special that’s above and beyond what they've experienced at dental visits, Dr.Kang began the journey of start-up practice in general dentistry.
Our focus is on increasing quality of life for patients by improving oral health. We’ll guide patients to achieve what they need and want for a healthy smile. Ultimately, we want our community to enjoy more quality time with family and friends instead of worrying about dental problems.

Dr. Stephanie Kang obtained a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree from Tufts University School of Dental Medicine in 2012 in Boston, Massachusetts. After completing a year of AEGD (Advanced Education in General Dentistry) residency program through Lutheran Medical Center (now called NYU Langone Health), Dr.Kang worked in a private dental practice in the Greater Boston area.
After visiting Seattle in summer time, Dr.Kang fell in love with the city and moved to Seattle in 2015. Since then, Dr.Kang had an opportunity to work at various community health centers and tribal clinics in Washington state, providing quality of care to the underserved population. As Dr.Kang enjoys building relationships with patients and coworkers, she has signed up for locum opportunities at many distant locations including Barrow in Alaska and La Push in Washington state. By providing dental care to various communities, Dr.Kang has gained knowledge and expertise as a primary dental provider.
"Outside of dentistry, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, playing games, drinking boba tea(with 30% sugar or less), watching K-dramas and challenging myself with Chopin etudes piano music."
